Nimrod Riccardo Sapir’s Quick4 stand-up electric scooter designed for MYWAY Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is the quintessential “last mile solution,” while staying loyal to the iconic design of the E-scooter.
The e-scooter won a recent 2020 Good Design® Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.
When the designers started design their first electric scooter in 2009, they envisioned a world where cars are used for long-range distance only, while micro-mobility will become the primary way of transportation in urban environments.
The Quick series by INOKIM made the first-ever foldable electric scooter back in 2009 as a solution to urban gridlock.
Over the years, the popularity of electric scooters expanded.
Merging the best elements of quick-to-fold, easy-to-lift, and quick-to-arrive, the Quick4 maximizes benefits for the end-user in multiple applications.
Sapir observed that users had differing needs.
Some integrate their scooter with public transport, meaning they need a light, portable e scooter.
Others use their scooters to cover long distances, often over challenging terrain.
Sapir created QUICK4 to be light, foldable, yet still provide comfort at long range.
The suspension handles urban landscapes, rough or smooth, and the fast-folding mechanism (hence the source of the name “QUICK”) allows for easy storage and carrying.
All that whilst still maintaining a clean and iconic design, excellent riding performance, and a digital panel offering technological control and information.
The hope is that QUICK4 will be integrated into peoples’ lives mainly as a means of daily commuting.
This is an authentic, legitimate, long-term, green commuter platform and not just a gadget.
The Quick4 stands out for its uncompromising combination of technology, safety features, and performance.
