Designed by Newell Brands with a secure rotating mechanism that allows the seat to be turned 180 degrees while in rear-facing mode, the City Turn Convertible Car Seat makes it easy to lift and buckle a child in.
The City Turn Convertible Car Seat has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The City Turn’s seat rotates smoothly with one hand, then audibly clicks into place once safely secured.
The car seat converts from a rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to a forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to grow with your child.
The multidisciplinary design team identified the three important points for parents: lifting a child into the car seat and out of it and most importantly properly fastening them into a rear-facing convertible car seat.
With the City Turn’s patented one-hand rotation, parents can turn the seat for easy access to the child.
In addition to the rotation, the seat also brings the child 10 inches closer when rotated.
This makes it easier to securely harness the child while maintaining an upright posture.
