Designed by MTI Baths in collaboration with Source, a prestigious Atlanta-based design firm, Bowie is a unique freestanding bathtub, inspired by ancient Egyptian techniques once used to embellish luxurious tunics.
Bowie’s design was recently awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Immediately eye-catching for its unique “pleated” exterior, the Bowie adds unexpected texture to the bathroom with an exciting style that is chic, fun, and amazingly versatile.

The tub measures 69” x 35” with a thoughtfully designed bathing well intended for the ultimate in comfort and relaxation.
Offered as a soaker or air bath, each Bowie tub is made to order and hand-crafted from MTI’s signature SculptureStone® material, a mostly organic mixture of ground natural minerals and high-performance resins that gives the look and feel of molded stone.
Bowie is available in white or biscuit with eight different exterior color options as well as a choice of matte or highly polished gloss finishes.
The finished product is seamlessly solid, exceptionally beautiful, and amazingly durable with a non-porous surface that is stain and mildew-resistant and easy to clean and maintain.
