MAXIMO is a modular outdoor sofa designed for sustainability and versatility, featuring a frame made from regenerated resin and fabrics containing a significant amount of recycled materials. The design starts with a single armchair module and allows users to create countless configurations easily and quickly. Its clean, balanced horizontal lines create a sense of depth and length, while the recycled resin frame is both strong and aesthetically light, highlighted by modular triangular sections and rounded details.
The sofa features large volumes and a deep, comfortable seat. Its modular system offers flexible and harmonious arrangements thanks to the back and armrest fixing system. The cushions are self-centering, generously sized, featuring elegant and partly recycled fabrics known for their high technical quality. These cushions are removable, washable, and designed to withstand outdoor use, available in four sophisticated colors. Decorative cushions with broader patterns in matching shades provide customization and a soft aesthetic appeal. The MAXIMO collection also includes a slatted low table and an accessory pocket attachable to the seat, both crafted from recycled plastic.

MAXIMO’s extensive modularity and broad color range emphasize its versatile design, suitable for both residential and hospitality outdoor living. It is part of Nardi’s “Regeneration” industrial program, which focuses on producing outdoor furniture from used plastic. The production utilizes cutting-edge technology and is entirely “Made in Italy,” environmentally friendly, and 100% recyclable with a long lifecycle. The polypropylene used is pure, allowing for color-based separation and efficient recycling.
Nardi ensures sustainability by using only renewable energy certified by Guarantees of Origin from GSE, a government energy services manager. The manufacturing process minimizes waste through continuous cycle production, recycling machine swarf and scrap by grinding it back into the production cycle. Nardi also partners with PRS Return System to collect and recycle used pallets, earning the PRS Green Label annually for environmental protection efforts. Furthermore, Nardi participates in Der Grüne Punkt, the international packaging recycling system aligned with the circular economy, certified annually by the Green Dot Eco Certificate.

MAXIMO meets strict industry standards including ISO 9001 Quality, OEKOTEX 100, Reach, and is PFAS-free. It is easy to clean and disinfect frequently without damage or fading. The recycled polypropylene is non-toxic, antistatic, and highly resistant to weather, breakage, and scratches. It is non-porous, allowing cleaning with disinfectants or diluted soap solutions. UV agents and fiberglass additives protect the resin, maintaining color brightness and quality over time. This durability lets MAXIMO withstand extreme heat, cold, humidity, and saline environments.
Materials include recycled plastic for the frame, and seat and back fabrics composed of 50% recycled Sunbrella acrylic, 47% Sunbrella acrylic, and 3% polyester. Decorative cushions consist of 33% recycled Sunbrella acrylic and 65% Sunbrella acrylic. Available frame colors are Gesso, Basalto, Cactus, and Terra. Fabric options include Perla, Lava, Timo, and Cannella in coordinated patterns. Each basic module measures 80x80x25 cm and is stackable, enabling easy storage and transport.
MAXIMO combines sustainable materials, a thoughtful design that bridges function and aesthetics, and a modular concept that adapts to varied outdoor living needs.
