Launched last year, the Croatian-designed Rimac C_Two is the world’s most powerful electric hypercar, demonstrating the company’s expertise in high-performance vehicle systems.
Designed and engineered from scratch by Rimac’s in-house team, the C_Two’s full carbon fibre monocoque is the biggest single carbon-piece in the industry – with the full battery and powertrain integrated within the monocoque. Together with the roof, it weights under 200 kg.
The graceful, agile form of the C_Two features timeless, elegant styling. Following simple aesthetic rules based around balanced efficiency, the car is neither aggressive nor passive – but somewhere in-between. A delicate network of performance, efficiency and beauty. With generous space for two occupants and their luggage, the C_Two is designed as a true grand tourer.
With every wheel and button milled from billet aluminium, the experience of interaction in the C_ Two is profoundly satisfying. With fully electrically-adjustable sports seats and steering column as standard, the C_Two is more than capable of accommodating any type of driver or passenger with ease, whether touring or on track.
Powered by a four-motor powertrain system with 1.914 horsepower and instantly available
2300 Nm of torque, the C_Two accelerates 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds and reaches 300 kph in 11.8
seconds. The 120 kWh battery capacity enables 550 km of range in WLTP cycle (650 km NEDC).
With its Lithium/Manganese/Nickel chemistry, 6,960 cells and cylindrical 21700 form-factor, the
C_Two’s liquid-cooled battery pack holds 120kWh and produces an astonishing 1.4MW of power.
Encased in layers of safety and protection systems, the pack is configured to offer the best possible
weight distribution to optimize dynamics.
Four electric motors power each individual wheel, giving both four-wheel drive and
unprecedented dynamic control. The bespoke dual permanent magnet, oil-cooled electric motors
offer an instant response, more than 97-percent efficiency, a near-limitless and maintenance-free
operating life and maximum torque from zero rpm.
