Taking its cues from the 1950s design, Mat Sanders designs Prismatic, a series of pendants, low-profile surface mounts, and portable lamps that incorporate advanced LED technology.
Prismatic has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Mat Sanders drew upon references ranging from the brasseries of Paris to Danish modernists and his California-based approach to design to craft a collection with a combination of classic silhouettes juxtaposed with nontraditional materials.
The Prismatic, in pendant, ceiling, or table lamp styles in black or brass metals, presents a shade sitting above a secondary glass layer, casting prismatic lights across the room.
The dedicated LED light source is concealed to reduce glare while providing ample lighting.
A convenient touch dimmer on the base of the portable lamps features 3-step dimming allowing you to control the light settings for ambient or functional uses.
