Lake + Wells and Link Design Solutions resurrect with Vessel Lamp the unique feeling of gathering by harnessing the bonfire glow for the table at the center of the home or garden for the ritual sharing of wisdom, stories, and time.

Vessel Lamp’s ingenious design has been recently awarded the 2022 Prize Designs for Modern Furniture and Lighting Award from Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

Vessel is part of the new Passages Collection—a series of 5 new portable outdoor lamps inspired by movement from one place or time to another—whether between worlds or spaces, in solitary or tribal form, in darkness or light—the Passages lighting collection both explores and collapses the boundary between the outdoors and the in.
Made for movements and behaviors more than particular places, passages marries the familiar warmth and luxury of the indoor with the evocative and ethereal nature of the outdoor.

After two years of exploration, iteration, and refinement the pentamerous collection juxtaposes age old forms of light in a contemporary reinterpretation with advanced technology, resulting in exquisitely engineered, portable, and cordless pieces for both indoor and light outdoor use.
Vessel is precision machined from solid aluminum and anodized with a rich satin black or plated with brass and finished in a hand patina. 27″ x 6″ x 3″.
Vessel features an integrated LED and is powered by an internal rechargeable battery for true portability.
