Combining Scandinavian minimalism and Italian contemporary design, Roberto Lazzeroni designs for Poltrona Frau an elegant sunbed part of an outdoor furniture collection.

For its refined design, The Secret Garden sunbed has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The Secret Garden sunbed is a practical piece of furniture for terraces, patios, verandas, or for contract spaces, thanks to the polished stainless steel one-way rear wheels, equipped with outer rubber rings, it can be moved comfortably.
The mattress, which has the same thickness as the seat cushions of the sofa and armchair, is covered with outdoor fabrics, specifically designed to drain the water and allow for quick drying.

As part of Poltrona Frau’s “Boundless Living Outdoor Collections”, the first series of outdoor furniture, the Italian company thus expands its borders by elegantly conquering open-air spaces, giving it its prestigious and renowned class.
The collection includes a two-seat sofa, sunbed lounge, armchair, dining chair, side tables, and dining tables of 100 percent teak, or teak frames with lustrous, enameled stoneware tops.
The collection features refined details such as beautifully angled woven web backrests that echo the mosaic tabletops and precise dimensioning of the raw teak to ensure a silken feel in the hand.
