With two Pantone Colors of the Year to celebrate, Camira has curated a selection of fabrics to bring a burst of Illuminating and a delicate touch of Ultimate Gray to commercial and residential interior schemes.

Bringing together an inspiring mix of ranges, tones and textures from across our portfolio, these fabrics are the perfect way to incorporate this year’s colors across a variety of furniture pieces.

The beautiful bold Illuminating encapsulates our hope for a brighter future – a need for the darkness of the past year to lift. As Pantone explains, “We need to feel that everything is going to get brighter – this is essential to the human spirit. As people look for ways to fortify themselves with energy, clarity, and hope to overcome the continuing uncertainty, spirited and emboldening shades satisfy our quest for vitality. Illuminating is a bright and cheerful yellow sparkling with vivacity, a warming yellow shade imbued with solar power.”

In this palette, Camira paired some of our brightest, most enthused yellows – which truly encapsulate the vivacity of Illuminating – alongside a pared-back selection of shades, balancing vitality with depth and tonality. Filled with texture, from the bouclé style yarn of Yoredaleto the fiber felted finish of Sonus, and delicate visual detail, provided by the baby herringbone of Era and diagonal weave of Oceanic, these fabrics are the perfect way to introduce a touch of positivity to an interior.

Reassuringly solid, Ultimate Gray is a color on which you can depend – the rock on which you can build. Perfectly summarised by Pantone, “Ultimate Gray is emblematic of solid and dependable elements which are everlasting and provide a firm foundation. The colors of pebbles on the beach and natural elements whose weathered appearance highlights an ability to stand the test of time, Ultimate Gray quietly assures, encouraging feelings of composure, steadiness and resilience.”

A celebration of the versatility and depth held within the color, this fabric palette brings together the solidity and dark depth of Ultimate Gray with calming, minimalist hues to create a scheme, which is both solid and soothing. Centered on wool-rich textiles, such as the worsted wool Sumi and Craggan Flax, a wool and flax blend, the natural composition of these fabrics works in perfect harmony with the grounding nature of Ultimate Gray.
