Βlending fantasy and delicacy in a culinary product like never seen before, Luxor Gas’ Wonderland Kitchen, designed by Matias Ferreya, has every detail that contributes to the story created by Lewis Carroll.

This kitchen immerses us in that fantastic world where Alice experiences marvelous adventures.
For its originality and detail-oriented design, the Wonderland Kitchen has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
At the front, there is an oven door inspired by the door through which Alice follows the rabbit.
It features an English clock similar to the rabbit’s to indicate the temperature, and an antique bronze key activates the burner.
Hidden on the sides, two cabinets unfold with a touch.
The right module contains a table, where Alice takes the passion in the grand hall to change her size.
On the table, some bottles serve as spice containers. On the left side, there are three drawers for utensils, and above them, a portrait of Wonderland.

The countertop or stove is inspired by the two armies in the story.
The red enamel-coated iron grates resemble playing cards, and the burners are activated by porcelain knobs shaped like chess pawns on a black and white ceramic board.
The kitchen’s wall or backsplash features an illuminated stained glass window of Alice, and two columns with hand-painted ceramic tiles depicting original drawings from the book, created by John Tenniel.
The extractor hood is designed in the shape of the Mad Hatter’s hat, made of iron and bronze. Undoubtedly, this kitchen tells a wonderful story in each of its details.
Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.
