The new headquarters of Divisions Maintenance Group (DMG) by Luminaut demonstrate the company’s dedication to both innovation and worker welfare with its three-story, 104,000-square-foot office that can house more than 650 workers.
This contemporary workspace has been carefully designed to accommodate a range of work requirements and styles, combining areas for focused work with collaborative spaces.
The Divisions Maintenance Group Headquarters has been awarded with a 2024 American Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The aim was to create an immersive environment that could accommodate their 650+ employees and reflect the vital facility maintenance services they provide to organizations nationwide.
With an overall open floor plan, the reimagined workspace spans more than 104,000 SF spread over three floors, each offering a prime view of Cincinnati’s Fountain Square in the heart of the downtown business district.
The third floor serves as the eye of storm, with the monumental staircase acting as the central connection point for all teammates.
A standout feature of the headquarters is the “Light Geyser,” a 27-foot-tall light sculpture weighing 1,800 pounds and comprising approximately 200 light tubes.
This installation not only serves as a visual centerpiece but also symbolizes DMG’s dynamic and forward-thinking culture.
Strategically located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, each floor offers panoramic views of Fountain Square, enhancing the connection between the workspace and the vibrant cityscape.
The design also pays homage to the building’s history; the former Macy’s escalator space has been transformed into a focal point featuring a floating staircase with stadium seating, merging the building’s legacy with contemporary design elements
This headquarters exemplifies DMG’s dedication to creating an environment that fosters both productivity and a balanced work-life culture, positioning the company for continued growth and success in the facility maintenance industry.
