Ubik’s design has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

While Ubik cube, pendant, and wall fixtures can shine independently, each with their distinct purpose, when they are installed in continuous runs and patterns within which optics can be mixed, matched, and interchanged, they offer the full flexibility required to address more complex and comprehensive lighting strategies.

Ubik optics range from the Lumenwerx proprietary High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) to parabolic louvers available in matte finishes of white, black, and silver, to gentle wall washer optics for perimeter applications.

Ubik in a full range of CCTs, dim to warm (an in-house design which maintains 85+ CRI throughout the dimming range), tunable white (custom tuning ranges), 80/90 CRI (no upcharge for 90 CRI), Bios LED, and full spectrum. The 90 CRI tunable white has equivalent lux (the MP ratio is 0.85).

Ubik is among the most commanding 2″ square-formed luminaires on the market, packing a powerful punch of up to 1600 lm/ft while still offering optimal doses of visual comfort.

Ubik black parabolic louvers deliver an industry best UGR of between 6 and 8, depending on the output selected, and for increased vertical brightness, Lumenwerx proprietary High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) provides an outstanding UGR of under 17.

Ubik’s five standard lumen packages give you the power to create a comprehensive lighting strategy using a vast range of options and approaches, among others, linear patterns, combinations, and cubes (as linear downlights). The Ubik family has also been designed to suit healthcare settings.

In this respect, Ubik Seal, Ubik Seal Troffer, and Ubik Seal Perimeter are IP54-rated for protection against dust and splashing water. Upon request, Ubik luminaires can also meet the rigorous human-centric standards of the Living Building Challenge (LBC).
