Loft Design creates The Embr Wave® 2 a wearable device that delivers the thermal relief on demand that users love, in an even more innovative design.
Lighter and slimmer than its predecessor, Wave 2 is a wrist wearable that delivers powerful waves of heating or cooling sensations to users, similar to putting an ice cube on your wrist or holding a mug of tea.

The project has been been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Thermal sensations are more powerful and instantaneous than other modes of touch. They provide a unique pathway to your brain that helps create a shift in how you feel physically and emotionally.
The device can even be worn at night, ensuring around-the-clock comfort for users.
In designing Wave 2, the main task was to evolve the first-generation Wave into a smaller, more wearable, a more powerful package for users.
Feelings of cool and warmth are intricately linked to the human experience: human beings have been utilizing temperature for millennia as a therapy in the form of cold dips, saunas, etc.
So, the concept of Thermal Wellness is not a new way of thinking about temperature; however, Embr Labs has made access to the power of temperature wearable, portable, and personalized.
Wave 2’s smaller, rounded profile and redesigned fitted wrist strap make it comfortable to wear around the clock without inhibiting movement.
Plus, Wave 2 enables wearers to control their temperature more discreetly, addressing requests from users seeking to camouflage the device’s true purpose (many use it to manage symptoms of medical conditions).
The band has a universal fit and fabric, metal, and vegan leather options so users can let their style shine as they enjoy the comfort of Wave 2.
