NEEK Faucet, one of the latest design projects by Lara Hermanos, Mauricio & Sebastián Lara, for Mexican manufacturer URREA, is a linear bathroom faucet that combines technology, design, and functionality.

NEEK Faucet’s design has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies for its functionality and sustainability innovation.
NEEK Faucet’s design is inspired by one of the most emblematic cultures of Mexico, the Mayans, and its name means seed, in the Mayan language.
The conceptual basis of this piece was governed by the balance of simple geometric shapes, the subtle combination of straight lines, circles, and sphere sections, which subtly intersect in the piece’s sections achieving a balanced combination of shapes and reflections.

This piece maintains the balance between function and form to be discreetly adapted into any bathroom design, integrating respectfully into the space, without losing its leading importance or its validity over time.
