Chengdu, China
Inspired by natural elements, the Flow Sales Center in Chengdu by KLID (Kris Lin Interior Design) for Grandjoy Holdings Group merges nature and technology with a design for development and exhibition areas marked by cohesion and continuity.

Flow Sales Center is located in the southern section of Tianfu Avenue in Chengdu, China.
It is a development and exhibition area whose design was inspired by two elements—water and light—allowing nature and technology to collide to re-establish the emotional connection between man and nature.
For its inspired design, Flow Sales Center has recently been awarded a 2022 International Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Divided into two floors, the reception and display areas are on the first floor.
Meanwhile, the sand table model display area, the conversation area, and the construction method display area are on the second floor.

In front of the lobby entrance, the project features a light cube art installation made of acrylic cubes, each endowed with lighting that hangs over the water at staggered heights.
The building itself seems to be floating on the water surface, connected by the light cubes, providing a glimpse of the future city shaped by science and technology.
Another emphasis of the project is crafting fluid space.
Smooth plastic curves create a continuous facade and continuity of circulation.

The staircase is hidden, embedded in the smooth facade that connects the upper and lower floors.
The continuity of the space avoids wall divisions and provides a seamless area for display.
The natural lighting from the ceiling in the sand table area allows sunlight to flood into the lower floor.
Further, the strategic window placement uses passive convection, allowing fresh air into the rooms, thus saving energy.
