Lexon is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with Jeff Koons, introducing the Balloon Dog Speaker and Balloon Dog Lamp—two innovative objects blending art and technology like never before. Created in partnership with The Broad, these official editions bring Koons’ beloved Balloon Dog sculpture into homes worldwide.
The Balloon Dog Speaker and Lamp transform Koons’ iconic Balloon Dog, originally conceived in the 1990s, into functional art pieces using translucent materials that capture its playful curves and presence. Over 50,000 hours of engineering went into perfecting these objects. The Balloon Dog Speaker features Bluetooth 5.0 and delivers 360° high-fidelity sound through six active drivers and four passive radiators, producing rich, immersive audio. It supports hands-free calls and can pair with another speaker via True Wireless Stereo (TWS) for an expanded soundstage.
The Balloon Dog Lamp offers versatile lighting with nearly 400 built-in LEDs, producing up to 200 lumens in multiple colors including warm and cool white, blue, magenta, and green. Lexon’s ‘Easy Sync’ technology enables users to connect multiple lamps for synchronized lighting effects, allowing dynamic control over atmosphere and mood.
Both devices share the same sculptural size—11 inches tall and weighing 2 pounds—combining durable design with everyday usability. Each piece is engraved with Jeff Koons’ signature and comes with a certificate of authenticity featuring a hologram to ensure exclusivity.
To further enhance the experience, Lexon launched an augmented reality tool allowing users to preview the Balloon Dog devices in their own space, merging digital innovation with iconic design.
The collection will debut at The Shop at The Broad on September 20, 2025, in celebration of the museum’s 10th anniversary, with availability both in-store and online for one month. This unique collaboration marks a new chapter where timeless art meets cutting-edge technology for everyday enjoyment.
