Kenneth and Edmund Ng have designed the Ramen LED Wall Sconce for Koncept; a dynamic bowl-shaped luminaire that accentuates and compliments any space and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
This project has been awarded a 2020 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
At either 9″ or 12″ in diameter, Ramen’s bowl-shaped body emits 360° of beautifully diffused light.
The fixture is artfully dressed up with a magnetically attached round faceplate, emitting an even and lovely layer of energy-efficient light from all sides.
The faceplates are interchangeable and available in a variety of finishes, including wood veneers, 100% wool felt, and metal.
Users are encouraged to interact with the design experience, particularly if the paintable plate option is selected.
Using this primed-white plate, professional designers and experimenting homeowners alike can color-match walls, create an abstract image, paint a portrait, stencil a pattern, and so on.
