Foudre is Sanijura’s new iconic piece of furniture. This high-end bathroom cabinet elegantly combines solid wood, lacquer, glass and ceramic.
Original in design, Foudre is made of ash, a light wood which reinforces the raw appearance of the cutouts of the furniture. Playing with contrasts, Foudre thus brings balance between the high-rise furniture and the very large backlit surface of the round mirror.
This elegant design has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The materials and tones are in keeping with the theme of softness. Light marble, blond wood, satin lacquer, immaculate ceramic and pure mirror. Nature inspires the creation of unique products that are conducive to a moment of wellbeing to Foudre’s likeness.
It is the undergrowth or rather the light infiltrating between the trees and shouting a kind of chiaroscuro which partly influenced this piece of furniture, in particular the openwork shaft under the fine ceramic vessel.
Combining practicality and design, the Foudre bathroom furniture has an incomparable aesthetic and is a unique product. It becomes the highlight of the room and serves as a furniture piece.
The nobility of the solid wood, the naturalness of the ceramics, the transparency of the glass, the alternation of open/closed areas and the subtly integrated LED track are all features that offer a cocooning effect and guaranteed wellbeing.
The open part of the furniture plays with the light in response to the lighting of the Obre mirror. It offers comfort and practicality to its user thanks to its wide laying area and its 2 storage drawers. The final touch of modernity is provided by its off-center basin and its storage space.
It comes in a unique dimension of 120 cm and a white matt marble ceramic countertop associated along with thin-edge glossy ceramic vessel to deliver contrasted, modern and elegant set of materials.
One base unit with two light grey-lacquered drawers enhanced by internal soft and refined solid beech combined with another beech “drum”.
Two shelves to come inside the drum, one with frosted glass, the other one with white marble ceramic as a discrete echo to the countertop.
All of this is sublimated by the iconic XXL Orbe mirror, but also with illumination.
