Designers Jonas Bergfeldt and Thomas Schaad work in collaboration with Humly Solutions and design the Humly Room Display, a clear and intuitive booking system that will instantly reduce friction related to meeting room reservations.

With this system, one can view future bookings, book new or extend ongoing meetings and report broken equipment directly from the display or from the computer/mobile.
The slim and hovering design creates a light and non-intrusive appearance that easily will blend into the office environment as a part of the interior.

Its functionality and timeless design have been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The expression is emphasized by hiding the volume with angled surfaces and a backlight that make it easy to see the booking status from distance. The front is a single calm interaction area where just the information is smoothly lit up.

To meet the environmental goals the most important factor was to maximize product lifetime as production is the single most resource-consuming event.
It meant choosing high-quality components and recyclable materials in combination with a design language that can last for a long.
