Lucerne, Switzerland
Designed by Filipino designer Jeffrey Ibañez this new collection of standing acoustic room dividers for Swiss Impact Acoustic can add immediate drama and distinction into any interior environment while allowing noise reduction that can have a negative impact on the workplace.
Helios (Greek for Sun) features a colorful circular acoustic panel that is mounted to a thin wireframe.
It can be easily adapted and flexible in any zoned-open workspace.
The panels were designed by the Delaunay triangulation method, which in geometry designates a way in which joining points create a triangular mesh.
The delicate balance of hard surfaces and acoustic room dividers all over the office has proven effective and cost-efficient.
Many employees do not like open offices. Yet scores of them continue to be built around the world; after all, open plan designs likely save companies millions per year.
The use of acoustic dividers gives spaces an elegant flair while keeping the fun and comfort all throughout the office.
