“We spend up to 90% of our time indoors,” says Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer, Dyson Technology Limited.
“So, our new light tracks daylight and transforms for different uses—providing the right light throughout the day.”
Jake Dyson’s new Lightcycle Morph lamp wakes you up, keeps you awake, and puts you to sleep. It’s effectively your mom.

Good lighting is important for any home.
Lighting sets the mood; it helps you focus or relax. (Or even, fall asleep and wake up.)
The light we surround ourselves with says a lot about us and guides our lives on the peripheries—when we wake up, when we fall asleep, whether we wear blue light filter lenses or even like to soak up summer rays for warmth or tanning.

The Lightcycle Morph has changed any and all impressions about light and lighting fixtures.
It’s well-built and its design is relatively simple—just a tall base and an arm that pivots and swings from multiple joints
Dyson’s light is engineered for versatile illumination—transforming and adjusting the light to support the way you live, work, and relax throughout the day.

With 3 Point Revolve motion, its optical head can be positioned in multiple directions, providing focused task light for reading and hobbies, dramatic feature lighting for art and decor, and versatile indirect light for soft background light.
You can also dock the head into the stem, creating a comforting ambient glow with reduced blue light—ideal for relaxing in the evening.
The light has intelligently-controlled LEDs that adjust brightness and color temperature.

Connecting to the Dyson Link app, it can adjust with your local daylight—providing the right light for the time of day. It also intelligently adapts to your task, age, mood, and sleep times.
Precisely-engineered optics deliver powerful, high-quality light that’s calibrated to help reduce eye strain.
And with Heat Pipe technology to cool the LEDs, it maintains its light quality for 60 years.

The Lightcycle Morph’s technology and features are most impressive.
As the droplet rolls toward the bulb it cools the device; once it makes it all the way there, it vaporizes, condenses on the opposite end of the tube, and begins rolling toward the bulb again, cooling the lamp for however long it’s on.
The lamp has multiple light settings, with adjustable color temperature and lumen intensity, that can be adjusted with slide touch controls or an app.

It recognizes time zones for precise daylight tracking wherever it is, then matches its brightness and color temperature to the light outside.
And its highly flexible design is meant to be adjusted for use as a desk lamp, accent lighting, a floor lamp, or “precision” lighting for tasks.
The ambient position is made possible by a magnetic sealing system, channeling light through an orange filter and into the perforated stem.
As a task light, the luminaire offers focused, powerful engineered light that helps reduce eye strain.
Inside, the Dyson daylight algorithm calculates the color temperature and brightness of daylight on a clear day—based on the time, date, and GPS location. It is not measuring the real-time light outside.
By tracking local daylight, the light automatically reduces blue light in the mornings and evenings.

In relax mode or ambient positions, the light instantly reduces blue light at any time of day.
The LEDs will maintain light quality for at least 60 years and are not designed to be replaced.
The Dyson Link app connects with the Dyson Lightcycle Morph light via Bluetooth—it’s quick and simple and all you need is the serial number on the bottom of the light.
The fixture is available in white, black, and silver.
