Vinci Design Studio creates an elegant and minimal chair that Hangzhou Hengfeng Furniture Co. made from veneer and plastic.
The elegance and the minimal outline of FATA chair draw inspiration from classic midcentury chairs. Contemporary in design, which is lightweight and practical. Soft curves turn to a contemporary silhouette.
The project has been awarded a 2020 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
FATA chair comes in a mix of veneer and plastic. It is the result of challenging work carried out together with injection molding engineers aiming to create the perfect dialogue between different materials respectful of the structure stress regulations.
The result is an instant classic. While part of modern classics, it’s an innovative form with colors and contemporary materials. It is ideal for elegant contract spaces, bars, or home.
