Made from renewable bamboo, David Trubridge’s Toru Pendant Light is a stunning pendant light that was initially created to raise awareness of diatoms by creating a highly sustainable light.

Toru has been awarded a Prize Design for Modern Furniture + Lighting 2023 by Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum Museum for Architecture and Design.
Decorative lighting often shows little concern for the environment, using lots of unsustainable materials.
The light’s unique three-sided shape is our third pendant light inspired by microscopic diatoms and is named after the Te Reo Māori word for “three.”
The light adds an element of sculptural nature as it can be installed either horizontally or vertically.

Crafted from high-quality materials, the Toru pendant light is built to last and features intricate designs that reflect the beauty of the Triceratium diatoms.
The light’s three sides create a mesmerizing twist that interplays light and shadow, providing a warm and welcoming glow that’s perfect for dining tables, lounges, foyer, reception, or as a corner statement piece.
The Toru light is versatile enough to fit in any space, from the living room to the bedroom, and it can be easily installed on any standard E26/E27 lamp/bulb.
Illuminate your space with the Toru lampshade, inspired by the natural beauty of microscopic diatoms.
