HP and Nacar Design’s new design for the HP DesignJet Z6 and Z9+ Pro large format printers incorporates a new front-to-front architecture design that focuses all of the important operator control touch points, ink load/unload, etc. to be forward facing on the printer housing making the printers easier to use.
The HP DesignJet Z6/Z9+ Pro Printers has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The Z9+ model is designed for professional print service providers (PSPs) who typically offer customers high-end retail signage, photo reproductions, and fine art reproductions.
The Z6 model was designed with Geographic Information System (GIS) analysts in mind, who typically provide their customers with satellite imagery, GIS/CAD drawings, and presentation maps.

Both of the new HP DesignJet Z Pro series printers provide for larger-sized prints and accept print media rolls up to 64 inches wide.
The printers also utilize HP EcoCarton ink cartridges for a more environmentally sustainable overall print solution.
Since it is common to find multiple HP products in the same facility, the overall form-factor design was created to scale across other HP lines of large-format printing products to reinforce the brand and communicate confidence in the HP products.
Through its design for targeted industry users and its eco-conscious use of materials and new inks, the new HP Z-series DesignJets provide a real answer for today’s commercial print needs and into the future.

Providing business customers with the specialized industry solutions they need is an important business focus and market differentiator for HP.
Marking the 30-year anniversary of the very first HP DesignJet branded product, the new HP DesignJet Z6 Pro and Z9+ Pro offer PSPs and GIS analysts the highest professional photo quality and precision, along with industry-leading security features.
