HP Design has created the new HP Elitebook 1040 x360 Aero G9 notebook series that is designed for the enterprise space with an emphasis on sustainability, security, and conferencing experiences.
The HP Elitebook 1040 x360Aero G9’s design and sustainable concept recently won a 2022 Green Good Design Award in addition to a 2022 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
HP design focused on sustainability as a priority. HP EliteBook 1040 Aero G9 is about balancing work and mobility. It’s large enough to be useful and light enough to be mobile.
The HP Elitebook 1040 x360Aero G9 has rounded sides that make it both more comfortable to hold and make it look thinner when viewed from eye level. The rounded edges also make it easier to open.
The trackpad is large and matches the ratio of the 16:10 display. Surrounding the trackpad is a diamond cut and polished ring, machined after anodizing the premium magnesium palm rest.
The 16:10 display makes a large difference for users. Productivity gets easier with more vertical height to see content on the display. Browsing requires less scrolling.
For the work-from-home professional, more screens to focus on your work means your work environment is better. The HP Elitebook 1040 x360Aero G9 is a 14-inch notebook and weighs under 3 pounds.
HP is committed to sustainability, and it shows in this product which joins HP’s World’s Most Sustainable PC portfolio of products registering as EPEAT Gold and Energy Star Certified.
Most of the parts are made using recycled material. The display bezel includes recycled plastic and keycaps include 50% recycled DVDs.
The outer case is from reclaimed metal. Internal speaker housing and front I/O strip include recycled ocean-bound plastics.
Its packaging is sustainably sourced and recyclable with molded fiber cushions.
By using more recycled and renewable content in this product, it increases product circularity driving toward a net-zero carbon, fully regenerative business model.
