British studio Holloway Li and Turkish furniture producer Uma Objects have launched the new T4 a modular collection of robust, pastel chairs.

The chairs are made from durable fiberglass; each module is upholstered in locally sourced fabrics.
Holloway Li’s design takes inspiration from the manufacturer’s history as a leading fiberglass producer for the automotive and transport industry.
Its rotund form was chosen for its association with furniture design from the 1990s, like inflatable chairs, inviting us to take a step back into the future.
The collection also draws on the Big Brother House aesthetic at the turn of the millennium evoking a certain nostalgia for our not-so-distant past.

With T4’s modularity, it is possible to group multiple chairs together to create longer sofas or lounge chairs, bolting them together by the end-user.
The T4 is a three-part fiberglass seat available in four colors: cream, melon, orange, and blush.
Users can also custom order different shades in Uma Objects’ Izmir factory.
The single seat is the first of the collection with further items to be launched in 2023.
