Designed by Henk Kosche and manufactured by ERCO, the new eco-friendly Beamer Outdoor Projector with darklight technology offers functions anyone would need for outdoor projects.
Beamer Outdoor Projector’s design and sustainable concept recently won a 2022 Green Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The new generation of Beamer projectors brings a new lighting technology, a new housing concept, more digital control types, and interchangeable distributions offering maximum design flexibility to outdoor spaces.
Innovative darklight lenses enable the user to realize precise light beams without spilling light, thus avoiding light pollution for Dark Sky illumination.
The concept of Dark Sky is the key to environmental-friendly outdoor illumination.
The newly developed lenses also ensure maximum light (lux) on the target surfaces per energy input (watt).
The housing concept is based on the first use of high-performance plastic for an outdoor projector as far as possible.
This lightweight and corrosion-free material replace aluminum, an energy-consuming material in the manufacturing process and prone to corrosion material.
Only the front part of the product is still made from cast aluminum to ensure optimized head management.
The result is a far more robust and long-lasting housing and a 100.000-hour lifetime of the LEDs and electronic components, a new standard in duration for that product category.
The new Beamer range provides more digital control types for energy-saving through adjusting illuminance to the ambient brightness according to the specific time or light level.
