Brazilian designer Guilherme Wentz’s new rocking lounge/armchair—‘Canoa’ (Portuguese for ‘canoe’) rocks like the sea and evokes the feeling of being on the water.

Its design is curved and sinuous, and its seat has a cozy angle, where the body lies almost lying down, relaxed and drifting.
Completely upholstered, the softness is extreme and guarantees comfort.
“Its height allows the coming and going and the feet, close to the ground, provides firmness to the rhythm—like two oars, they give fluidity or pause to rest,” states Guilherme Wentz.

There is, also, calmness in the waters.
This lounge chair does, in fact, try to deliver that soothing experience of calm waters, but its ties to the sea go beyond its rocking motion.
The upholstery is covered by WE—KNIT fabric — 3D fabric made from recycled PET, from bottles that are taken from the ocean.

The armchair has a steel and wood structure, complete with elastic straps and foam.
Aluminum and felt finishing on the bottom of the base prevent fabric friction against the floor.
It uses an exclusive WE—KNIT covering from 100% recycled PET.
