Less is truly more with the Hitoe Fold Less Wallet, a minimalist wallet for today’s needs by Hirotaka Satoh and the Products Design Team of Hirotaka Satoh Architects manufactured by SYRINX in Japan.
“Less is More” is a quote by 20th century architect Mies van der Rohe.
Hitoe Fold Less is a wallet that holds only three cards.
However, once you actually use it, you will realize the true meaning of “Less is More”.
The Hitoe Fold Less Wallet has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The “less” wallet Payment methods have changed dramatically with the Covid-19.
Cashless and touchless are widespread, and cardless is progressing rapidly.
However, the complete elimination of cash and cards is still a long way off.
To such a new normal, the designers propose a new ideal wallet.
It fits in your pocket as if it were a part of your body.
Thick Less Conventional wallets gets thicker because the cards and coins overlap.
The solution to this is “HITOE (single layer) structure,” which prevents cards and coins from overlapping.
The thickness of the wallet is 7mm with 3 cards (at the thickest part) Only 89mm x 89mm Light weight of approx.
This weight and size is so compact that you will forget its existence in your pocket.
