The design team of LIXIL Global Design Americas reveals the American Standard Reference Line Bath as part of its Reference Line Collection, providing a fixture that does everything for the perfect bath, from filling the tub to cleaning it after use.

This series of bathing products are part of American Standard’s ‘Reference Line Collection’ which was designed to represent the purest expression of the brand’s values.

For its user-centered design, American Standard Reference Line Bath has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

The series maintains consistency and homogeneity in American Standard’s design approach and provides an unfailing bathroom sanctuary for its users.

Designed with the end user in mind, the goal was to improve quality of life and reinforce the brand’s presence in the home.

The Smart Tub filler allows the user to pre-set the time, volume, and temperature for filling the bathtub.

The bathtub has a lip contour along the outside edge to keep water from dripping over the sides.

The Smart Leak Prevention sensor activates a shutoff to the filler to disable any risk of overflow.

The Mast Valet can do it all: hold your bathrobe, carry your toiletries, and clean the tub when finished.

By using the Signature Element ‘Taper’ the tub interior contours provide maximum comfort and function.

‘Pillow’ is used on the end of the tub where the user can ergonomically rest their back.
