“The creative journey is very unique, but we know that new experiences and exposure to new perspectives are crucial to finding our next great idea,” says Meghan Sherwin, VP Marketing.“
The design Figure3 delivered balances these inspiration points with an easy flow of traffic for our guests to follow.”
After the acquisition of Division Twelve, which was founded in Edmonton, Canada by industrial designer Geof Lilge in 2017, Keilhauer is expanding its offerings with a line of tables and seating.
The colorful new line’s personality, durability, and adaptability will function as a solution for office environments that want to create unconventional meeting or luncheon areas that are inspired by hospitality trends.
“This acquisition provides us with a new solution for office design, extends our reach into new markets, and brings excellent design talent into our house. It complements what we do at Keilhauer beautifully,” said President Mike Keilhauer.
“From the moment I first saw Division Twelve I was struck by a feeling of joy. I am excited to bring that feeling to the market.”
Now that collection will be showcased in Keilhauer showrooms in Toronto, New York, and Chicago.
Designed by Figure3, the showrooms handsomely complement the collection of Division Twelve’s initial collection of bent metal stools, chairs, tables, and bench feature the designs of Geof Lilge, Scot Laughton, and Samuel Petterson.
The pieces have an urban, modern design that ranges from straight-forward to sculptural. Twenty different powder-coat colors are available to customize each piece.
Each year, the palette will be updated to include the latest Pantone® Color of the Year.
To capture these sentiments, the showroom designs incorporate custom graphics that present the company’s expansive 20+ color offering.
The unexpected use of dimension, space, and scale softly suggests the limitless possibilities available with the furniture line.
Creative use of vertical space is also included, adding intrigue and utilized to showcase the product’s breadth.
Complemented by the collection’s clean, softly minimal lines, the space maintains a feeling of openness in the boutique space.
“The new showrooms bring Division Twelve’s joyful personality to life while providing our clients with an opportunity to engage with our product in real life,” states Sherwin.
