The Fairfax table was designed to bridge the gap between geometric and organic curving, with straight lines and geometric shaping.
Intentionally blurring the lines between modern furniture and traditional aesthetics, the Fairfax is a transitional piece highlighting a 20-sided sunburst matched top and 10 sided billet turned center pedestal.

Fairfax Table by Martin Goebel, won a Prize Design Award 2026 from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and Global Design News.
Utilizing ethically sourced FAS-certified Cameroon zebrawood, the black and white striations emphasize curvatures as an homage to the Solidworks line drawings representing curvatures like a topographical map seen in the-round on the computer screen.
