Designed by Carly Cheng and Dzmitry Varhan of Helen of Troy Home and Outdoors and OXO Industrial Design Teams, OXO Good Grips Aluminum Bottle Drying Rack provides a thorough, efficient, and sanitary drying system specifically designed for holding four water bottles or travel mugs, lids, and straws.

OXO Good Grips Aluminum Bottle Drying Rack has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
For the last 30 years, OXO has looked at everyday life around the home and made thoughtfully designed products and tools that make everyday tasks like cleaning and organizing simpler and easier — in a word, better.
When the designers consider what new tools to bring to market, the designers start by observing everyday people.
The designers watch people go about their lives and see how they use their kitchen and cleaning tools, coffee makers, and how they care for little ones.

This research reveals pain points in everyday tasks that have previously gone unnoticed, and the designers get to work solving them.
With the product development and design of the OXO Water Bottle Drying Rack, the team’s increased use of reusable water bottles and drinking vessels revealed a gap in the market – a way in which to thoroughly dry your bottles after use or cleaning.
In research and observation, the designers noted consumers propping bottles up on a plate or cutting board edges to allow for airflow or using baby bottle “grass” drying racks.
Both proved to be inefficient at drying through the narrow bottle openings and took up unnecessary countertop space.

The team got to work finding a solution for both thorough drying and space-saving.
The OXO Bottle Drying Rack’s innovative design holds four water bottles, which hang upside down on four prongs attached to the aluminum frame.
A removeable tray allows space for four lids, and unique straw holders, also attached to the frame, which keep up to four reusable straws elevated for sanitary and efficient drying (as if you needed another reason to make the switch from plastic straws to reusable options).
The rack’s raised edges keep lids and caps from rolling off so you can find your bottles and accessories when they’re ready for use.
The rack comes apart and neatly snaps into the base for easy, compact storage when not in use.

For small kitchen spaces where countertops are valuable real estate, the storable rack means a more efficient and useful kitchen.
The innovative design provides a through, efficient and sanitary drying system for multiple tools and keeps all products stored in one place avoiding the eyesore of a chaotic counterspace or losing space from having numerous reusable water bottles sprawled across your counter.
Plus, the frame is made from aluminum which is rust-resistant, and the tray, when snapped off, is dishwasher safe.
