“These are true objects of desire and emblems of excellence,” states Dior Maison.

Sam Baron’s Dior Maison Outdoor Collection is the French designer’s latest impressive project for a new chair and armchair collection, as well as two tables – one with a round top and the second with a square top–each crafted from green metal and manufactured in France.
The chairs are clearly inspired by the classic Medallion chair, which became a symbol of the Louis XVI style, and was a piece adopted by Christian Dior for seating guests at his fashion shows.

For the outdoor chairs, these oval shapes have been filled with latticework metal, which appears on the table’s surfaces too.
In this case, the designer rethinks traditional symbols in his work intertwining historicity with contemporary design.
The Dior Maison Outdoor Collection remains faithful to the eclectic design which characterizes all Dior Maison’s collections, in homage to Christian Dior’s mantra: “Living in a house that doesn’t suit you is a little bit like wearing someone else’s clothes.”
This outdoor furniture collection was presented at the 2022 Milan Design Week and is featured inside The Pâtisserie at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris and in all the Dior cafés around the globe.
