VELLO SUB has recently been awarded a 2023 Green Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Thanks to the short standard length of 180 cm, it can be easily transported on public transport and reduced to a width of 29 cm without tools by means of retractable pedals and handlebars.
Thus, it can be safely stored in the home, office, or tight bike room.

With the VELLO SUB, you’ll cover long distances with ease – the powerful Bosch electric motor – powered by dual battery systems – creates a range of up to 250km (top speed EU version: up to 25km/h).
The VELLO SUB is also equipped with the latest Bosch Smart System, which includes aremote control in the cockpit and a free smartphone app (more details below).
For maximum safety in the dark, the integrated Supernova lighting ensures good visibility.
The hydraulic brakes with the four-piston system from Magura ensure optimum braking performance.
Each bike is certified for pedelecs according to EN 15194 and meet the required safety regulations of the European Union.
Thanks to the foldable handlebar and the foldable pedals, the VELLO SUB can be folded to a width of only 29 cm and a height of 85 cm – perfect for safe storage at home or in the office.
The handles on the saddle make it easy to carry, or the child can hold on to it while riding.
The VELLO SUB is the same length as a normal bicycle (180 cm), so it can be taken on the train or mounted on the bike rack for a weekend trip.

The VELLO SUB is a safe, stable and easy-to-manoeuvre bike that has a low centre of gravity thanks to Schwalbe’s wide 20″ tyres – whether it is loaded with cargo or passengers.

Thanks to the height-adjustable handlebars and the different seat posts, the bike fits everyone between 150 cm and 200 cm.
