Inspired by the warm golden hues of the autumn sun in Japan, Citizen’s Series 8 GMT Limited Edition watch features varying shades of gold on the case, bracelet, ,and dial and is equipped with the Citizen 9054 caliber, an automatic movement made by Miyota.
Exclusive to Citizen, this movement offers a 50-hour power reserve, improved accuracy, and enhanced magnetic resistance.
For its design and its visually appealing and luxurious aesthetic, Citizen Series 8 GMT has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The case includes a flat, AR-coated sapphire crystal, 100 meters of water resistance, and a bi-directional 24-hour bezel that allows for tracking a third time zone.
The Series 8 GMT also stands out with its detailed dial work, including polished obeliskine hands, brushed and polished applied indices, and a GMT hand with a modestly sized triangle for legibility.
