Led by Sino Group and EDITECTURE’s design team, the “Circular Furniture” brings a unique artistic flair to the 70sqm public space at the 1/F Departure Hall, China Hong Kong City.
The modular and eco-friendly design of the “Circular Furniture” collection is made from 145kg of upcycled plastic, equivalent to 10,132 plastic bottles.
The exhibition, divided into three zones, showcases six local social and circular design brands, emphasizing creativity and sustainability. BOUNDLESS offers inclusive and stylish wardrobes for diverse demographics, while Project Futurus presents “Sensory Restaurant on Wheels,” an immersive dim sum experience designed for elders with dementia and disabilities.
EDITECTURE features sustainable mahjong sets crafted from wasted fabrics, while Beyond Vision International brings tactile-audio systems to enrich the lives of the visually impaired.
KIBO highlights sneakers made from repurposed materials like apple and leather trimmings, and INVISIBLE COMPANY introduces water-soluble packaging. These exhibits inspire the community to embrace upcycling and greener lifestyles for a sustainable future.
