Yusuf Çakar of Çilek Mobilya has designed a crib enables the baby, who falls asleep in a different place, to be moved to the crib without being woken up, the baby can be rocked and put to sleep without being taken to the crib, and the crib turns into different products.
Named the Koza Crib, the project has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Newborn group (0-2 years) babies can fall asleep in the middle of the day in other spaces instead of the baby room. In this case, the sleeping baby may need to be moved to other spaces without being awakened and disturbed.
The baby, who falls asleep in a different space, should be carried to his crib without being awakened and without disturbing the peace.
The baby who wants to be put to sleep in a different space should be rocked and put to sleep without being taken to the crib, which is one of the situations where both the parent/babysitter and the infant need it.
Otherwise, the baby may be restless and sleepless during the day. Meeting this need contributes to the infant’s physical and cognitive development.
Koza (Cocoon) Crib is inspired by a butterfly’s growth in a cocoon, which simulates the process of a baby sleeping and growing.
A caterpillar grows and develops in the safe environment of its cocoon, just like a baby.
The cocoon form that inspired the Koza crib design evokes metaphors for keeping babies safe, enhanced, and growing.
The form follows the function and the user can use the product in different scenarios.
Koza crib can be transformed into different furniture with its accessories integrated into a single module.
Thanks to its plain design and multiple functions, the Koza crib offers a new experience to the user.
Koza crib consists of a single body, three different legs, two different railing alternatives, and parts that offer a playful approach.
Three different leg designs can be positioned in different spaces.
The short and long railing design reduces the risk of falling and ensures safety when the baby grows up.
When the baby is too old to use the crib, the cot turns into a playground.
Koza can take on different functions with accessories, and in this respect, it provides long-term use.
