With a transparent structure, a graceful frame, and made from materials that are easy to separate, recycle and repair brühl & sippold’s lofoten lounger is a fully adjustable piece of furniture created by the desire for a life lived in harmony with nature is more topical and in tune with the times than ever before. lofoten responds to this desire.
Lofoten Lounger has recently been awarded a 2023 Green Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Hand-crafted to ensure timeless aesthetics, outstanding quality, and durability, lofoten‘s almost indestructible frame is formed by a wooden bridge-like front rail and rung-like arm- and backrests in beech, oak, or solid walnut.
The upholstery is supported by sprung wooden slats.
The seat base as such – made from long-lived, highest-quality polyether foam – consists of loose cushions.
All cushions can be replaced individually, the covers are removable and renewable.
