The BuzziShroom is an innovative acoustic floor lamp developed by Belgian design brand BuzziSpace in collaboration with American designer Cory Grosser.
This multifunctional piece seamlessly combines lighting, sound absorption, and biophilic design elements, making it a versatile addition to various environments, including workspaces, hospitality settings, educational institutions, and residential areas.
Inspired by the organic form of a mushroom, the BuzziShroom features a fully upholstered base and shade with minimalist lines and a rounded silhouette.
The BuzziShroom has been recognized for its design features and has recently been awarded a 2024 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
This design introduces a touch of nature indoors, fostering a calming and visually appealing atmosphere.
Unlike traditional acoustic solutions that require wall or ceiling installation, the BuzziShroom is a freestanding unit that can be easily positioned as needed.
It emits a soft, diffused glow, contributing to a relaxing ambiance rather than serving as focused task lighting
Constructed with a thick foam body, the BuzziShroom effectively absorbs sound across low, mid, and high frequencies, enhancing the acoustic quality of bustling spaces.
Each lamp is meticulously handcrafted in BuzziSpace’s Dutch manufactory, ensuring exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
To accommodate diverse interior styles, the BuzziShroom is available in a wide range of fabric colors, with options to match or mix the shade and base.
