In 2025, BLUETTI achieved a significant milestone in material sustainability through a strategic collaboration with Covestro, a global leader in high-performance polymer materials.
This partnership led to the introduction of the Elite 100 V2 Bio-based Version—a portable power station featuring a capacity of 1024Wh and a constant output of 2700W.
With a weight of only 25 lbs and a compact 17L size, the unit incorporates a hidden handle for enhanced portability.
Bluetti Elite 100 V2 Bio-based Version by Bluetti Power Inc., won a 2025 Green Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design, and Urban Studies.
As the industry’s first portable power station to integrate bio-circular polycarbonate into its housing, the Elite 100 V2 Bio-based Version delivers full performance while achieving upgrades in both aesthetic design and environmental profile.
This innovation carries ISCC Plus certification and contributes to an estimated 25% reduction in carbon emissions from the source, reinforcing BLUETTI’s commitment to responsible production and consumption.
The housing of the Elite 100 V2 Bio-based Version incorporates approximately 25% Bayblend® RE material, offering excellent lifespan, aging resistance, and safety.

One of the key challenges in adopting new materials is ensuring that the housing’s durability matches the extended lifespan of the device itself.
BLUETTI’s LFP battery technology provides industry-leading longevity—up to 4,000 cycles and about 10 years of service.
This extended lifespan sets a new benchmark for housing materials: they must withstand aging, brittleness, and performance degradation for ten years or more, even under extreme temperatures and prolonged UV exposure.
In terms of safety, Covestro’s bio-based PC/ABS performs equivalently to conventional petroleum-based PC/ABS in critical areas such as mechanical strength, flame retardancy, and weather resistance.
Its technical and performance metrics align with those of the standard PC/ABS grade, allowing direct substitution without additional qualification testing.
This ensures durability, safety, and consistent mechanical properties, color uniformity, and processing stability across production batches, while also helping reduce mold-maintenance costs.
The material exhibits outstanding anti-aging performance, reliably protecting the device during transport and under various outdoor conditions, while maintaining dependable impact strength even below freezing.
It also meets the UL 94 V-0 flame-retardancy requirement, providing essential protection during high-load operation.

Furthermore, the material supports refined surface textures and rich color expression, giving the Elite 100 V2 Bio-based Version its distinctive ‘Earth Deep Blue’ with green leaf accents.
The appearance embodies the shared mission to protect the planet.
The adoption of Covestro’s bio-based materials results in a significant carbon reduction.
Estimates show that the carbon footprint of these bio-based materials is approximately 25% lower than that of traditional petroleum-based versions, outperforming both fossil-based and post-consumer recycled alternatives in total emissions reduction.
To ensure the sustainability of the supply chain and the credibility of environmental claims,
Covestro’s bio-based materials are certified under ISCC PLUS — a globally recognized sustainability and carbon certification system.
Project, Jackery forges a deeper connection between humanity, nature, and sustainable technology—demonstrating that commercial innovation and environmental stewardship can progress hand in hand.
