Can you please describe the inspiration that guided your award-winning project?
The primary inspiration for the project was its surrounding environment, with the ocean serving as the central influence. The main design concept focused on framing the ocean views, allowing the landscape to become the dominant feature. The architectural approach is intentionally minimalistic, allowing the simplicity of form and material to highlight the beauty and presence of the sea.

What innovative architectural features or technologies did you incorporate?
The project incorporates a highly advanced rainwater filtration system featuring four stages of purification, ensuring efficient and sustainable water management. Additionally, integrated battery systems contribute to generating up to 80% of the building’s total energy requirements. These innovations collectively enhance the project’s sustainability while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

How does your design address sustainability and environmental responsibility?
The design emphasizes sustainability by incorporating native vegetation sourced from the local environment. This approach not only enhances the ecological integrity of the project but also ensures harmonious integration with the surrounding landscape.

What are your aspirations for future residential projects or architectural practice in general?
Our primary aspiration for future residential projects centers on responding thoughtfully to the specific place, location, and surrounding context, which serve as key sources of inspiration. Additionally, we aim to integrate cultural elements that reflect the region in which the project is situated. We also consider the unique philosophies and lifestyles of our clients, ensuring that each design embodies a balance between environmental sensitivity, cultural relevance, and individual expression. This holistic vision guides our architectural practice toward creating meaningful and contextually relevant spaces.
