The project combines modern architecture with a rural context. The building along Nordstrasse mediates between the existing building and the spirit of the times.
Wohnhaus HBW by Robert Maier Architekten won a Future House Award 2025 from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and Global Design News.


A reduced gable roof creates integration with its own identity. White surfaces contrast with a dark wooden base. The clear interior design with natural materials and large openings is complemented by precise landscaping that creates various recreational areas.
