Canadian designer Yongwook Seong’s PISA is a playful approach to stackable furniture, inspired by the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy.
Seong’s new collection won a recent 2020 Good Design® Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.
The tower is compartmented into six pieces including a center table (top), four chairs (middle) and a side table (bottom).
PISA could be flexibly adaptable for the given environments.
For example, it can be fully stacked as a decor or disassembled as needed for furnishing.
For safety measures, the leaning angle of PISA is adjusted to 0 degree.
