Designed by Valerio Cometti+V12 Design, Pietro is a manual coffee grinder with vertical development that looks to the future with a perfect synthesis of design, technology, and performance.
The revolutionary layout features an unprecedented ergonomic configuration: the horizontal rotation axis of the operating handle and grinders allows for a much smoother and more powerful arm movement.
For its revolutionary design, Pietro Grinder has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
It is a very versatile product, because thanks to the possibility of changing the internal burrs, it is possible to obtain the ideal grain size for all types of coffee extraction: from traditional Espresso, to V60, to Ibrik, to Moka, to French press and many others.
The innovative configuration with its horizontal axis of rotation introduces an unprecedented grinding capacity, creating a new segment in the market.
Again the configuration with its horizontal axis and therefore vertical grindstones facilitates the gravity fall of the ground coffee powder, always pursuing maximum performance, in this case in the form of minimum dust retention in the grindstones, dust that tends to oxidize and degrade in quality.
The body is made of aluminum and foodgrade plastic, the burrs are in M340Bohler steel, made directly by Fiorenzato from milled steel bars.
The container for collecting ground coffee is connected to the body with neodymium magnets and its base is made of silicone to guarantee its support on kitchen surfaces.
