The Siegmund Welding Cell by Selic Industriedesign and the Siegmund Design Team, offers the user a simple and cost-effective entry into robot-assisted automation and series production.
The minimal, attractive appearance without decorative elements makes the welding cell a perfect addition to a modern, automated welding shop.
The Siegmund Welding Cell has been awarded a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The system is compatible with many robots and cobots on the market. The high safety standard allows for safe, protected operation.
It is made up of components from a modular system, can be configured individually, and can be expanded at a later date.
The welding cell, together with a welding table as a basis, is made up of a few, very stable profiles and panels with standard dimensions.
Stable aluminum-plastic composite panels are used for the side and rear walls, which are connected with very stable, vertical connecting and corner profiles.
The front doors have red-tinted, sweat-resistant safety glasses, which can also be used for the side walls instead of the aluminum panels.
The roof can also be folded up using a rail system, for example with the support of an overhead crane to get better access to the workpieces to be machined.
The integrated LED strips also light up as vertical strips and indicate the operating status, whether the doors can be opened or remain closed
No fastening grooves are visible from the outside on the profiles. Surface elements are almost flush with the aluminum profiles.
The overall result is an architectural appearance that radiates solidity, reliability, and quality.
The double doors at the front have red-tinted, weld spatter-resistant screen glass and ensure reliable protection against flashes during the welding process.
The side walls and the backs are equipped with aluminum composite panels or also with red protective screens.
