The new charger recently won a 2020 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.

Its eye-catching form, unique design and different usage options as wall-mounted or mono/duo charging pillar makes the product prominent.

Gen2’s distinctive design language is composed of a two-piece outer body including half-cylindrical front and back covers and top-bottom caps with in-mold cosmetic details around.

Dynamism in the form factor makes it possible for Gen2 to be a perfect visual match with electric cars from various brands/models.

Besides enabling flexibility of mounting in different versions, modular structure makes it possible for engineering and production costs to be reduced.

Moreover, modularity offers easy installation at the assembly point or during maintenance.

The product offers practical use and energy saving by a remote control-timer option that enables charging to be started/stopped on intended time via mobile application “Drive Green.”

In the production of Gen2, in compliance with IK10 standard, most durable materials and advanced engineering techniques are used to ensure the ultimate impact resistance.

Special engineering solutions were developed to guarantee IP54 level dust and water protection to function well even in harsh outdoor conditions.

Gen2 AC Charger offers the best connectivity options including LTE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, RS485 to fit all remote management functionalities via OCPP.

Dynamic load management helps to balance electric grid power deviations and ensures all-time smooth, reliable and seamless charging.

Long-lasting, eco-friendly materials and techniques compatible with high-quality standards are used in the production of Gen2 AC Charger to provide longevity.

The design language of the Gen2 AC Charger is inherited from the first AC Charger of the Vestel electric vehicle charger family, Envo, thus the brand recognition is boosted.
