The Unisynk G3 USB-C Charger 36W, designed by Johan Thelander, Gabriel Olsson, Gustaf Wollin, and Thomas Albertsen of Universal Creation is a brand new universal third generation high quality charger, combining all the lessons learned from previous chargers, and looking forward into the future.
The project has won a 2023 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Today, where the customer needs to know the output power of chargers to choose the right one, we clearly mark the interface name and output power, right next to the charging port.
Soft in-port LED light with light guide indicates that the charger is powered, and guides the user to where to put the cable in the dark – while when the cable is attached, the light is almost completely blocked to avoid annoying light in an otherwise dark environment.
There is a slot which the user can use to place the phone, if lacking another suitable place.
One very effective way to decrease total environmental load is to make a product have a long life. This we aim to achieve by engineering.

The product is designed to have a MTBF of 100.000 hours. This means it is calculated to work for 11.6 years of constant use. The shell is robustly engineered, with a thicker than normal shell, and a reinforced internal structure.
The Universal charging standard and the high power are together meeting the needs of phones for many years ahead.
