In collaboration with the New York Public Library, Thos. Moser has designed a chair that is more than just a piece of furniture for its patrons; it is also a symbol of the Library, its mission, and its vision for the future.

The NYPL Branch Chair has recently been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The last iconic chair commissioned by The New York Public Library was for the reading rooms in the landmark 42nd Street Library in 1911.
The NYPL Branch Chair by Thos. Moser will serve the great public institution and the communities it serves for decades to come.
The New York Public Library is a steadfast provider of culture, education, innovation, and community in 92 locations across the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island neighborhoods.
It was the opportunity to create an icon for the library system that will carry the brand through the next 100 years.
