With a façade of sliding wood panels acting as a solar filter, this ‘Passivhaus’ residential complex by OHLAB draws upon the tradition of Majorcan pergolas for a beautiful design rooted in sustainability
Located in the exceptional and sun-blessed location of Palma, Paseo Mallorca 15 by Paloma Hernais and Jaime Oliver of OHLAB is a low-energy, nearly net zero building with two types of façades depending on orientation: a permeable filter to modulate light and shade, optimized through solar studies, and a more solid, stone façade.
